The name is common, but I'm not.

Meet Michael

I'm the Michael you've been looking for. A jack of all trades with a passion to help companies reach their max potential. I'd consider being your superhero but my cape is in the wash.

About The Guy In The Pic

In 2014, I earned my BFA in Graphic Design from Monmouth University. While my degree provided a strong foundation, my career has been shaped by hands-on experience across multiple industries.

I started in 2011 as the first employee of a startup, initially as a Graphic/Web Designer. Over the next decade, I took on roles in Administration, HR, Sales, Operations, Product Development, Marketing, and Finance—eventually becoming the Chief Operating Officer. I adapted quickly, developing a sharp attention to detail and the ability to tackle complex challenges across departments.

In 2021, an unexpected merger shifted my career path. I transitioned into the food disposables industry, applying my skills to sourcing, supply chain management, and product development.

Currently, as Sourcing Director at Blulabs LLC, I manage multi-million dollar RFPs, negotiate with overseas factories, develop new SKUs, and oversee the transition from Sourcing to Procurement. The current political climate has created abrupt changes and uncertainties in the supply chain world, but these are the types of challenges I thrive on. I am all about problem-solving, pivoting, and staying proactive to ensure business continuity and success. I also work closely with the Executive Team and collaborate across departments to improve efficiencies and drive cost savings.

After relocating to Fort Lauderdale from New York City, I am seeking new career opportunities, either fully remote or hybrid/on-site in South Florida, where I can continue to contribute and grow.

What's Important?

The Bigger Picture

Getting caught up in daily routines can make it easy to lose sight of progress. It’s like running on a hamster wheel—busy, but not necessarily moving forward. My strength lies in stepping back, identifying challenges, and implementing solutions that drive real results. That said, I value the small details too. They keep operations running smoothly, and I enjoy tackling them because attention to detail is key to success.

Focus + Dedication

My passion is in a full-time role where I can make a lasting impact. I thrive when I’m fully committed to a company, seeing projects through from strategy to execution. Loyalty is important to me, and I believe in dedicating my time to meaningful work. Outside of my career, I spend my free time recharging and taking on projects that challenge me when timing is right, keeping my skills sharp and perspective fresh.

Positivity

No one wants to work with someone who constantly complains, whether it's about their commute or minor inconveniences. A positive work environment fosters better collaboration, productivity, and overall success. At the end of the day, people enjoy working with those they like, and that energy extends to clients as well. Keeping things productive, solutions-oriented, and upbeat makes all the difference. I am going to try to make you laugh from time to time.

Common Sense

Hiring and managing teams has shown me that common sense isn’t as common as the name suggests. I take pride in my ability to think critically, solve problems independently, and adapt quickly. This mindset reduces the need for micromanagement and builds trust within a team. I enjoy figuring things out on my own but also know when to collaborate for the best results. After all, team work makes the dream work, right? But a company is also only as strong as it's weakest link.
